Why does partially accommodative esotropia deviation increase with age even with coerrection ?
This is diagnostic but does not much relay the person's vision experience in terms of field deficits and how head tilt compensates.
very nice explanation thank you
Thanks
Thank you, doctor. Your explanation was very helpful. But I have a question to ask: is this similar to the facial muscle linkage caused by facial nerve (CN VII) injury? What is the impact of these similar axonal misinnervation regenerations on the recovery of muscle function?
I have this cause and doesnt yet treatment cause doctor in my country so stupid
TOP video 👏Can not find anywhere the w4lt specifically for macula. Please, can you tell me where can i get it? or how can i replace it? Tnx in advance.
Thank you mam
Whenever I look at white text on a black background (but not the inverse) SOME of the text gets blurry or pixelated and sorta jiggle. This does not happen if I cover one eye so it must have something to do with their alignment or perhaps one optic nerve is slower than the other? I also see the white blood cells in my eyes if I look at something white (not just the sky like most people with the blue field entoptic phenomenon), also floaters. Also if I look at something with a fine pattern like a carpet I see static over it, strangely enough, unlike the first thing I mentioned; the static gets amplified if I cover one eye...
Thanks Dr for the great video. In the case of Diplopia in the extreme upward gaze and upward left gaze of left eye that didn’t resolve in 2 weeks, is surgery required?
SUPER COOL
Thank you kindly…trying to understand my diagnosis better
What’s the test distance?
crazy i did this to a guy with 1 punch😂
Just happened to me. Proper shiner
My 4 year old daughter has duane's .i am from India can i get any help
Hi, My son is 4months old diagnosed with duane syndrome..I'm from India too ..let me know if you know a good doctor who provides treatment in india.
Hi, my name is Emiliano, I live in Italy. For 4 years I have been practicing exercises for my visual problem, exophoria. I've had good improvements, but I'm still not 100% healed. In January, my doctor told me about variable vectors, which can significantly speed up healing. But in Italy we can't find anyone who has them. The only company that takes these vetograms is located in Milan, but only buys and distributes one every 4/5 months. I believe there is a solution. Someone I can buy these vectors from in the world. What can you do for me? I don't speak English well, I'm using Google. Thank you...
Hi Connie, wondering if a basic compensated esophoria patient with no symptoms needs to be treated or can be left?
You should have mentioned treatments.
Very useful video
What about adults
Very informative video
I don’t understand this. If there is suppression in one eye, can’t the other eye also view that object? It is in front of the patient so it should be visible to both eyes and there shouldn’t be missing objects in the vision if atleast one eye is normal. I know this is not true..but I am unable to the correct explanation for this. Please help
We miss you, please return 🙁
What is the meaning of exo and eso?
Exo means eye is going out and eso means eye is going in
@@ironwithin3875 thanks
Congrats for the presentation! A really nice one :) about i would just suggest to base the diagnosis even upon the clinical findings like visus with crowding (relevant to identify the microtropia with identity) and i would suggest the term secondary only for conditions which are caused by an ocular pathology and like consecutive in case of strabismus following the surgery (but i find the last one not really likely to happen "non a real possible entity".. it is more likely that there was already a microtropia before the surgery with latent component which decompensated and once solved comes again up)
thank you
During this if the fovea is identified to be temporal relative to the fixation point why type of microtropia would it indicate?
what*
@@AmaanKhan-qd3mq This would mean that the patient is eccentrically fixing with a point nasal to the fovea. Typically this corresponds to an eso-deviation.
Won't the base in prism cause more eso deviation
A base out prism is required if prisms are prescribed.
I thought everyone had the ability to see double if they relaxed their eyes, but I took my phone and recorded myself when I did it, and my right eye just randomly zooms to the other side, jesus. How am I learning this at 27.
Do you experience difficulty reading? And if so how do you cope with it?
Wanna ask sone help. I am experiencing that condition to be exact. Wherein my left eye is closed and the pupil is dilared. Please help me.
Thank you so much mam You are the only hope for backbenchers who only went to college just for attendance My 4th year attendance is 18% and required 70% but to be very frank I don't care it all because I am here for learning not for attendance and we have lectures of yours so don't need any other teachers 😉
Why we are using only red and green colors. Why red filter for right eye only.why not for left eye. Why there is black background? Please kindly tell us. What is cancelation method

Hiya! What does CIP stand for?
"Contralateral Image Point"
Thank you The best lecture about the topic I have ever had
Thank you very informative
This is the most beautifully explained video on this topic. Thank you so much ma'am! I only hope,in future, i cud teach this to someone half as well as you did.
I have constant alternating exotropia and I can make my eyes look straight when I want but I see double and ots blurry. Is it a way I can fix that with glasses?
What is ipd ?
interpupillary distance
hello madam I am MG patient my problem 10 years
Excellent video.. Thanks
Do AC/A ratio change with convergence insufficiency?
In germany it is virtually impossible to find an orthoptist, who instructs you how to perform orthoptic exercises for mananagement of esophoria.
Doctor , what is your opinion on my case? Correction: OD: -1.25(-1.00 at 90°); OG -1.25(-1.25 at 80°). Angle in diopters FV S/C: X=6 and NV: X’X’T= 16 exophoria in FV, exophoria tropia in NV. hyper action of the two external rights OG sup OD. NRC to all tests. Good fusion amplitude, both eyes let go especially OD.
My 5 yr old grandson was just diagnosed with this condition. Thank you for this video.
Why can I do this on command
How is it now is it worse or same
this is a constant left exotropia
What is tha principle of w4LT
